How to use it

Frequently asked questions

The result looks like English letters

That is correct. Bijoy text is English letter codes. Paste it into Word, InDesign or Photoshop and choose the SutonnyMJ font to see Bangla. On a phone or a computer without SutonnyMJ it will always look like Avgvi †`k.

Is my text uploaded?

For Avro → Bijoy, the text is sent over HTTPS to the ConverterAZ conversion service because it handles SutonnyMJ's special letter shapes more accurately. ConvertBD does not store it. If that service does not answer, the page converts in your browser instead. Bijoy → Unicode and phonetic typing run entirely in your browser.

Some conjuncts look wrong in SutonnyMJ

Check that the whole text uses SutonnyMJ, not a similar font such as SutonnyOMJ. If the Avro text itself has split vowel signs or letters in the wrong order, run it through the Bangla text fixer first, then convert.
